Activa trailer / towbar retrofit. Watch out! For Facelift model. Adaptation in motor control unit 01 is not accepted for some models. In this case, the coding can be ignored. Control units that are not installed can also be ignored. Please note that certain coding steps must be carried out according to the part numbers installed. Watch out! There are a maximum of 7 lines of coding to do here, depending on the modules you have installed. Most ECUs have long coding with «trailer» to activate!

Procedimiento manual documentado con VCDS / VAG-COM
- Con el motor apagado y el contacto quitado, conecta el cable VCDS al ordenador y después conecta el otro extremo a la toma de diagnosis del vehículo.
- Da el contacto y abre VCDS. Bloque 1:
- Pulsa «Select», después pulsa «19 – CAN Gateway».
- Select “Installation List
- Tick: “ 69 – Trailer ” in the list
- Guarda la codificación Line 2 (for towing hook mounting with double ventilation):
- Pulsa «Select», después pulsa «01 – Motor».
- Pulsa «Coding – 07» después pulsa «Long Coding Helper».
- Selecciona el Byte «07» y activa el Bit «3-5» (activates the installed vent) OR
- Selecciona el Byte «05» y activa el Bit «4». Bloque 3:
- Pulsa «Select» después pulsa «. 09 – Cent. Elect.».
- Pulsa «Coding – 07» después pulsa «Long Coding Helper».
- Selecciona el Byte «18» activa el Bit 5 Bloque 4:
- Pulsa «Select» después pulsa «03 – ABS brake».
- Pulsa «Security Access – 16» e introduce el código «61378».
- Pulsa «Coding – 07» después pulsa «Long Coding Helper».
- Selecciona el Byte «01» activa el Bit 7 Bloque 5:
- Assistance stationnt ”.
- Selecciona el Byte «00» Then Bit «0-3» Select «Trailer Hitch Installed (Manually Removable)». Bloque 6:
- Pulsa «Select» después pulsa «5F – Information Elec».
- Selecciona el Byte «10» activa el Bit 5 Line 7 (If back-up camera):
- Pulsa «Select» después pulsa «6C – Back-up Cam».
- xx?0xxx: +1 = Trailer Hitch installed
